We went out Sunday to do the Seven Sisters Summit Challenge. It was a great day for a 16 mile run around beautiful Montreat and we saw lots of other users out enjoying the brief respite from winter. The only problem was we made a couple of wrong turns and by the time we corrected them and finished the route we came in with 22 miles in just over five hours with 6600' of elevation gain. When we topped out on Greybeard I proclaimed it all downhill from here and then we suffered through the final pounding 3000' descent. Finishing sure felt good!
