By the time me and Carlos made it to Fawn Lake yesterday it had started raining. We all huddled up under tailgates except for Carlos who was already wet after taking an alternate line across the Little River crossing.

Jonathon didn't get wet crossing the river but he had a big sombrero that protected him from the rain. Proper hydration should never be overlooked, especially in the rain:



Even though there were six of us huddled up in that parking lot Jonathon was the only person brave enough to join Carlos and myself on the epic trek back to Corn Mill Shoals. We flirted with the rain but nothing much ever came of it and we even managed to take a slight detour on the way back.
