Tuesday evening I headed out to Paris Mtn. for the nickle tour with Jonathon. I was looking to get in a quick little ride and Jonathon, being the guy he is, decided that we had to ride there from his house. I'm not sure how little of a ride it was...

Paris Mtn. was fun. Fast and flowy with enough rocks and roots to keep it interesting. Upstaters are lucky to have such good trails right in town...







Last night was the drinking club like always. Zach, Dennis and Cook are training for some sort of 24 hour race or something and felt like they had to try to go extra fast or something. I'm not much for training or extra fast but I hope their training plan or whatever it is works for them and they bring the trophy home for the WNDC...

If anybody hasn't heard there is a big ride planned for the middle of Novemeber in Pisgah. A hundred Pisgah miles is a daunting undertaking. Training for such an event is probably irrelevant at this point. How long will it take? 16 hours? 20 hours? I'd better buy another light....
